I love chickpeas. I feel like they are the perfect addition to many meals. They’re high in both fiber (35g per cup) and protein (12g per cup) to help keep you full and give you energy for your day.
I am a bonified snack girl and I love them in all shapes and sizes. If I’m craving something salty and savory, these crispy chickpeas always come to mind. Super easy to make and keep on hand to grab a handful when the craving strikes. These also work great as a topping for salads.
I like a little heat to mine so I always add paprika and cayenne pepper. If spicy isn’t your thing, skip those and keep it simple with just the garlic powder and salt.
You don’t have to toss these with olive oil, but doing so will add an extra crisp that just hits the spot.
